In recent years, The researches are related to the toxicological effects and mechanisms of commonly life and production environmental pollutants, especially the safety evaluation of nanomaterials and the underlying mechanisms, as well as the pathogenesis of environment relevant tumors. This subject has been in charge of or participated in more than 30 scientific research projects founded by National “973” Program, “863” Program, Key Project of National Science and Technology, Natural Science Funds of China and Province and Ministry and obtained more than ten million yuan of national research funds. Students and teachers in this subject have published more than 200 research papers, including nearly 100 SCI papers, more than 10 books as editors, deputy editors, or participating editors. They also won the first prize of the Natural Science of the Ministry of Education and the third prize of the former Ministry of Health. The employment of graduates is mainly in institutions of higher learning, scientific research institutions, CDCs, Safety Production Supervision Bureau, Animal and Plant Import and Export Inspection and Quarantine Bureau, drug testing and testing institutions, safety toxicology evaluation institutions and medicines, as well as Enterprise R&D department, etc. Objectives: Students will grasp the fundamental principles of Marxism, stick to the Four Cardinal Principles, have the sense of patriotic duty, abide by the laws and regulations, and behave upright. Meanwhile, the students will develop their spirit of serving the people and devoting to the construction of socialism.
