Notice Regarding the Preventive Measures against COVID-19 that to be Implemented from 25 October Collection of Proofs of Receiving COVID-19 Vaccination and Negative Nucleic Acid Test Result Dear Postgraduate Students, According to the advice from the Education and Youth Development Bureau (the DSEDJ), starting from 25 October onwards, staff and students of tertiary education institutions in Macao are required to present the proof of having received at least the first dose of COVID-19 vaccine or the proof of negative nucleic acid test result which has been sampled within 7 days before entering the University. If students fail to provide the abovementioned proof, they will NOT be allowed to enter the University or use any facilities in the campus, including the library, computer rooms, laboratories and residential colleges, etc. from 25 October. The University reminds students to be ready for resumption of face-to-face classes ANYTIME. After resumption of face-to-face classes, students who fail to provide the abovementioned proof will be prohibited to attend the classes, thesis oral defence and report presentation on campus. Students will also be considered ABSENT during the said period. According to the University’s rules, student who is ABSENT from a course for more than 20% of the teaching period in the aggregate will NOT be allowed to take the final examination and will receive a failing grade for that course. Proof of Receiving COVID-19 Vaccination     The University is now collecting the “Proof of Receiving COVID-19 Vaccination” from students. Students must provide truthful information in the declaration. Please do note that the COVID19 vaccination information you provided will be processed for class resumption, disease control and prevention purposes. It may be transferred to other organizations in Macao. In case of any false reporting, the student will bear all the consequences. The classes will also be considered ABSENT during the said period. Students who have received one dose or completed two doses of COVID-19 vaccine are advised to complete and upload the COVID-19 vaccination information on or before 24 October. Students who plan to receive the first or second dose of COVID-19 vaccine on or after 25 October are advised to complete and upload the COVID-19 vaccination information after receiving the first and second doses of vaccine respectively. Your vaccination record will then be updated accordingly. For details about the “Proof of Receiving COVID-19 Vaccination”, please refer to Attachment 1. Link to Collection of Proof of Receiving COVID-19 Vaccination (Students) This link will be available from 15 October afternoon until you have completed and submitted the proof(s) of two doses of COVID-19 vaccine. 1/3 Proof of Negative Nucleic Acid Test Result     Students who have not received any COVID-19 vaccine before 25 October are required to submit the “Proof of Negative Nucleic Acid Test Result” every week until you have received the first dose of COVID-19 vaccine. Please do note that the nucleic acid test information you provided will be processed for class resumption, disease control and prevention purposes. Students are required to obtain a negative nucleic acid test result at designated locations (please refer to Attachment 2) at Macao SAR, Zhuhai or Zhongshan every week. Starting from 22 October, students will be required to submit the “Proof of Negative Nucleic Acid Test Result” during Friday 09:00 to Sunday 23:59 every week until you have received the first dose of COVID-19 vaccine. Students must ensure that the negative nucleic acid test result obtained can cover all classes in the following week. For example, the negative nucleic acid test result obtained on any Monday will be applicable to only your Monday classes in the following week. The negative nucleic acid test result obtained on Saturday will cover your classes until Saturday in the following week whereas the negative nucleic acid test result obtained on Sunday will cover your classes until Sunday in the following week. For details about the “Proof of Negative Nucleic Acid Test Result”, please refer to Attachment 2. Students can obtain the “Proof of Receiving COVID-19 Vaccination” from the screenshot of your "COVID-19 Vaccination Record" on Macao Health Code.
