第 14 届高级生态学和保护生物学野外培训班招募通知 Advanced Fieldcourse in Ecology and Conservation - XTBG, 2022 （AFEC-X 2022） 20 22 高级生态学和保护生物学野外培训班主要面向生态学和保护生物学专业研究生 及青年学者，通过教授生态学、保护生物学等学科的基础理论知识和前沿研究技 术，提高区域青年科学家的研究能力和信心，搭建区域青年科学家研究网络，培 养生态学、保护生物学等领域的国际人才，促进其与国际热带生物学研究人员、 生态学研究人员等的交流与合作。 CX This program is an intensive course in academic skills and research methods of Ecology and Conservation Biology, intended primarily for early-stage graduate students and young scholars in Ecology and Conservation, providing training in both basic and cutting-edge techniques in Ecology and Conservation Biology, improving research capability and confidence in young scientists from across the region, fostering a regional network of young scientists, building a regional consortium to inspire and educate young conservation biologists, cultivating international talents in the field of ecology and conservation biology, and promoting the cooperation with international tropical biology researchers and ecological researchers. FE 培训时间：2022 年 10 月 17 日至 11 月 27 日（6 周） Training dates: 17 Oct – 27 Nov 2022 (6 weeks) A 培训地点：中国科学院西双版纳热带植物园 Venue: Xishuangbanna Tropical Botanical Garden, Chinese Academy of Sciences, Xishuangbanna Dai Autonomous Prefecture, Yunnan Province, China 报名时间：即日起至 2022 年 8 月 31 日 15:00 Registration: opens until 15:00, August 31, 2022 (UTC+8) 培训内容：热带地理特征、生物多样性科学、保护生物学、动植物关系、分子 生态学、可重复性科学研究、动物运动建模、实验设计和 R 统计、演讲和写作 技巧等。 20 22 Topics: Tropical Environments, Biodiversity Science, Conservation Biology, Plant-Animal Interactions, Molecular Ecology, Open Sciences, Animal movement modelling, Experimental Design and R Statistics, Presentation and Writing Skills, etc. 培训对象：生态学、保护生物学等研究领域研究生、青年学者等；线下全日制 学习学员不超过 30 人。 Target students: early-stage graduate students and young scholars in Ecology and Conservation. The number of onsite full- time study participants is less than 30. CX 培训方式：线下+线上，以线下授课为主；中国境内学员可申请线下或线上学 习；他国境内学员只能申请线上学习。 AFEC-X 2022 will be organized onsite and online simultaneously. Applicants currently physically in China can apply for onsite or online study; while applicants currently physically in other countries can only apply for online study. FE 培训语言：英语 Training language: English A 培训费用：免收培训费 Course fee: No course fee will be charged 其他费用：学员往返植物园的费用自理；培训期间，主办方为参加线下全日制 学习的学员统一安排食宿，学员需缴纳部分食宿费用（2500~5000 元/人，可申 请奖学金） Other cost: the costs of the journey to and fro between participant's departure city and XTBG are self-care. The course organizer will arrange food and hotel and cover part the costs for all onsite full- time study participants which need to pay part of the costs of hotel (2500 RMB/person) and/or food (2500 RMB/person). 奖学金：本培训设置有奖学金，参加线下全日制学习的学员可申请用于支付培 授予（详见申请表） 。 20 22 训期间的食宿费用；奖学金将根据学员申请资料、面试成绩、经济情况等条件 Scholarships: the course organizer have some budget for scholarships (see the application form for details) to cover the food and hotel, which will be awarded based on both merit and financial need (This is only for onsite full- time study participants). 培训证书：培训班提供两种学习模式，即全日制学习和旁听。学员可以根据自 CX 身情况选择其中一种方式。(1)全日制学习要求学员全程参加6 周的学习课程， 并完成 独立课题，通过答辩考核后获得培训证书。(2)旁听不要求学员全程参 与，可根据自己的时间和兴趣听课，不颁发培训证书，只出具上课证明。 FE Training certificate: we will offer 2 kinds of study positions which are full-time study and parttime study. You can choose either of them according to your time and interest. (1) Full-time study requires you to participate in the whole process of 6-week study and complete independent project (you will have the chance to get the training certificate). (2) Part-time study does not require you to participate in the whole process of 6-week study and complete independent project. You can choose courses that you are interested in (you will not get a training certificate, but a certificate of attendance). A 课程学分：AFEC-X 已录入中国科学院大学（UCAS）研究生课程。UCAS 和中 科院所属机构的研究生完成 AFEC-X 全日制学习后，将获得 5 个课程学分。 Course credits: AFEC-X has obtained accreditation from the University of Chinese Academy of Sciences (UCAS). Graduate students from UCAS and institutions affiliated to Chinese Academy of Sciences will receive 5 course credits towards their degree program upon completion of the AFEC-X full-time study.
